Rescuer · #43 · Palma de Mallorca, SpainPeople know me as a TV journalist from Germany, telling animal stories in front of and behind the camera.
But when the cameras are off, the real work begins.
I founded my own animal welfare organization and built a private sanctuary on Mallorca for animals that have been abandoned, neglected, or abused. Rescue isn’t my hobby or a side project—it’s my life.
My rescue work has taken me far beyond Mallorca. I support animal rescue missions internationally and have also worked in Ukraine, helping animals affected by war and displacement. No matter where an animal is suffering, I believe we have a responsibility to help whenever we can.
Some days start with a phone call about an injured dog. Others end with a frightened horse taking its first step toward trusting people again. I’ve bottle-fed newborn kittens, organized rescues, and witnessed both heartbreaking loss and incredible recoveries.
As a journalist, I tell stories that matter. As an animal rescuer, I live them.
I believe the most powerful films aren’t about heroes—they’re about compassion, hope, and the quiet moments that change a life forever.
